Panasonic 32PS20

Hi,

I have heard this set exists (Actually seen it for sale on a Polish website)

Main selling point is Progressive scan support (including PAL IIRC), can't seem to find any other information on it

Anyone got anymore details and also if there will be a 36" version?

Cheers

HH

Thanks

Can understand the important parts, though before i think about one, i want to make sure it can support PAL progressive as well as NTSC (Might as well have both on a new TV)

Be interesting if you do get one, to hear your opinion on PQ mainly but also your other impressions.

Cheers

There's no doubt about it, it supports PAL PS. There are extensive reports on the forum at www.areadvd.de, but this forum is in German.

In general the PS20 is considered to be extremely good value compared to the PH40, since it has the same tube and image, and only leaves out a subwoofer and PiP.

Thats very encouraging as i don't have a need for an internal subwoofer and i can't ever imagine using PiP.

Look forward to seeing some extra feedback especially on the PQ with a PAL Progressive signal.

Also, do you if it only supports progressive via the component in or via scart also?

Thanks again for your help

Translation...

Tip: Do a Google search on the above German websites, then click [Tranlate it] and Google does a fine job of translating into English. No always perfect but good enough to get the gist...
