What is the bottom line on Samsung HD CRTs?

Could some one lay it to me straight on theses? They seem like a good idea, CRT picture quality with HD capabilities. However I've seen a lot of topics about problems with them. So what I'm wondering is should I avoid and get a regular CRT for SD viewing, or go for a Samsung HD CRT and have good SD viewing and HD option in future.

Re: What is the bottom line on Samsung HD CRTs?

the new 07 models are due out later this year, apparently Oct time........

these are the ones with new image processing to aleviate some of the geo problems on past models.

even so, geo will probably not be perfect,

having said that, Id personally buy one, over any flat panel, and Id gladly swap 10 brand new boxed LCDs for one !!
