Panasonic TX32PB50 32" Flat wide CRT - NO SOUND!

Hi all, new to the forum.
I have a Panasonic TX32PB50 32" Flat widescreen CRT tv. It is about 4 year old and I now have a problem with it.
Sometimes when I turn it on there is no sound. The only way to restore the sound which is just luck is to turn it off and back on a few times and hope for the best. Once the sound is restored it will stay on. But the sound loss is only when I turn it on from cold.
I do not want to replace this tv as I think it's a great tv. Any help would be great!
