Ive tried 2 Tv's so far, one being a 19" flat screen CRT TV (Sanyo) and the other a 13" round tube TV ( Dynex) and my TV is about 6 feet from the refrigerator,microwave, and stove (its a small apartment, heh). Anyways, sometimes while playing a Playstaion 2, the image will get kinda twisted looking, the colors will be distorted ( greens and reds) and "video 1" will be shown on the top right of the screen. This last only for a couple seconds and the fixes itself. Ive tried 2 TVs and they both did it, and even 2 PS2's....I don't get this, could it be interference from the Refrigerator,microwave,stove, COMPUTER...maybe my computer's subwoofer (near the TV...agian, SMALL apartment). COuld it be undervoltage, overvoltage? Please help and thank you in advance.

As this is mainly a UK/Europe based forum we don't have the same makes and models released on this side of the pond.

Ok Ill try that, thank you, but I was wondering if this a universal thing ( with all CRT tvs, no matter the make/model).

Yes it is...any crt TV placed near a large magnetic field will give impurity on the crt...but has nothing to do with "video 1" being displayed on your TV...that is probably just an on-screen graphic telling you your TV is on its AV input.
