John Lewis Solihull / Allders Coventry- any good?

Apologies for yet another post, but does anyone know if these two have a decent selection of cheaper 28" widescreens on display? I live within 20 or so miles so it's not a huge journey but I don't want to waste my time if they've nothing on display - can't really phone them up and ask (well, I could but they'd be biased). Nottingham could be another option if they're bigger stores.. TIA, Paul
