Searched for the difference between these two for hours and have found lots of potential problems with them Pixel+ etc however in my case the decision is dead easy - the wife has decided she likes the look of the Philips!!!!!!

I tried to sell the Tosh 27b but she hates the look of it. My question is though as i have bought a Yamaha 630 /Kef eggs/Tosh 220 to complement the TV is the audio (rear cordless speakers and greater Audio output) the only difference between these two TV's if so I can save a couple of hundred pounds by buying the 9527

This also goes to prove not all purchase decisions are rational!!
