Budget TV - which to go for...

My brother is looking for a budget 28" widescreen.

Any suggestions around the £300 mark? (and are they any good)

Cheers

Chris

The GOODMANS W282NS/W282NS-T received a recommendation recently in What HiFi (or was it Home Cinema). £280 from Comet.

Philips 28PW6006

£312 from www.unbeatable.co.uk

An EXCELLENT tv, lots of very good reviews. Unlike other budget TVs it compares verywell to TVs well into the £5/600 mark. I've got one and one heartedly recommend it.
