About to buy a Panasonic tx32ph40. Anyone want to stop me?

Are there any reasons why I should not buy the Panasonic tx32ph40?

One very good reason would be the fact that Richer Sounds are apparently doing the Sony HS1 for £1200.

I don't have room for a projector so CRT is my only option.

hi

ive heard some slate this set and others praise it both in this forum and in reviews. I'm happy with mine though i don't use the analogue rf for viewing off air, the picture via rgb from digibox is excellent. I will buy a pal prog dvd when they become a bit cheaper. So, no I would not stop you buying one but as seems to be the case with all tv,s there are some dud examples about.

I have ordered it. It should be here next Wednesday. I will post my impressions if anyone is interested. I have my US Xbox and cube ready to test its prog scan so i am well excited.

Jtorry - If you don't mind telling us, what price did you order yours for - and where from ?

I've been thinking about this PH40 for a few weeks now, and I've noticed that the best price is about £1099 from the internet only BE. Most places with retail outlets (useful for pricechecking with John Lewis) do these for around £1150, inc. delivery.

A couple of weeks ago, they were going for about £1050.

I got it from robertsons for £1128. I was going to get it from BE Direct, but they were out of stock. The url for roberstons is
