Ferrite rings and Philips TVs

Has anyone who has got banding problems on their TV had the ferrite ring mod done? Did it work?

i have the banding problem, aware of the ferrite ring fix, called comet last night and they are sending engineer out on Saturday. I will mention this to him and see if he has come across it before.

Liverpool had engineer out to his philips tv and engineer said that the ferrite ring did fix the problem.

I also have the AV Crosstalk problem when using ext1 as well.

I will keep you posted as to what the engineer says on Saturday.

Thanks for that. I've sent a letter to Apollo 2000 and await their response as to what the next course of action is. Again, watch this space!!
