RBG only SCART's?

I know this has probably been done to death but can anyone recommend whether it is worth buying an RGB only SCART cable? If so which one/s?
I am currently use some ‘Viavanco’s’ (don’t know the model) which cost about £30 three years ago. The picture seems ok but I cannot compare them easily as my TV only has one RGB SCART output.
Also I read somewhere on the FORUM that someone said that all SCART’s are RGB but just have the sound pins removed there-by everyone is being ripped off by people selling RGB only cables!
Surely that is the whole point? Not to have the sound signals so that they cannot interfere with the picture signals when travelling down the cables?

Thanks
