Component to Scart

I'm interested in connecting a DVD player with component out to a Loewe Aconda which supports component via scart.

Can I use a cable such as the IXOS 115AV 6RCA to scart?

Are these cables directional?

I'm pretty sure these cables are directional - and that ones the wrong way round - ie scart to the phonos.

I purchased at the weekend a QED AV29-10 (1m version), which is 6 Phonos to Scart - quality is very good indeed and it works perfectly from my Pioneer 656 to My Loewe Vitros. Both component modes (YUV Syn on CVBS and YUV Sync on Y) work.

I realise this cable is not the cheapest, but I bought it as it most people seemed to think it was compatible.

If you look on this website:

http://www.hificables.co.uk/acatalog/SCART_to_RCA.html

It specifically mentions the Loewe 2400/2500 chassis.

Regards,

Mark.
