100hz and 60Hz gaming?

I have just seen today that my 100Hz tele can't seem to handle playing games in 60Hz. The games appear to have extreme slowdown and it only occurs in 60Hz mode. This was not a problem on my old tele. Anyone know if this is a problem with all sets?

Been playing Burnout 2 and Onimusha 2 lately and they work perfectly in 60hz mode on my LS60. What telly you got?

Been playing loads of games in 60Hz and in progressive scan on my 100Hz TV and there isn't any probs at all. If there is any in-game slowdown then that would be the fault of the console and videogame, not the TV.

It appears that my brand new tele doesn't actually support Pal 60.
