More problems

I have just purchased a JVC av28x25 TV and have noticed a purity problem in the top right corner.

However, I have also noticed two vertical lines to the left of the screen when the screen is showing bright images such as football. Is this to be expected????

The TV is being replaced but I want to know this is not going to appear on the new set.

Thanks

Purity problems can be quite common in widescreen Tvs. As for the vertical bars, all my widescreen TVs (8 in total) have bars somewhere on the screen.

What do you mean by 8 in total?

Thanks for the reply

Why are these bars there? I notice them on football images-is this what you saw with your widescreens.

Are the bars likely to go away if I go for a different set/manufacturer.

I have had 8 widescreen tvs with some sort of fault. I am now on my 8th set in 16 months. This one seems fine so I hope it lasts. Currys are sick of me
