After finding (googling) out how to get in the Service Menu I fixed geometry (I have none experience in this, so it was trial and error). Now what rests are the colours on the component video channel. For your info, my Nintendo Wii, Sony PS2 and dvd-player are connected via component, so I'm sure the problem lies in the tv. I tried switching the values for colour and all but got nowhere near how it should be.
Did something blew up and needs it to be fixed?
Or is it a matter of filling in the right values?
Perhaps someone has a list for me with (standard) values that should give a good coloured picture??? |
Sorry! But you do need a TV Engineer to have a look at your TV.
Due to you blowing the safety fuse twice.
Sounds like the EPROM has corrupted and quite possibly blown another component?
First need to set or replace the EPROM.
The colours?
If Grey scale is required it is not that simple.
R-G-B Cut off and Gain settings are required.
Just replace the EEPROM it should come pre-programmed from a JVC spares Agent.
Good Luck!
