Toshiba 32ZP38B - picture problems

Bought the above TV new 3 years ago. For a few days now there is a problem where the picture is constantly 'jumpy'/ vertically moving. Everything else including the sound is fine.

Anyone had similar problems/know what the problem is? Any help appreciated.

Re: Toshiba 32ZP38B - picture problems

More than likely the scan converter module (MDFS Board) has got dry joints and needs replacing. Happened to me and a lot of other people as it's a common fault with this set. Ring Toshiba explain what is wrong and they will suggest you get it seen by a local tv repair shop, if it is that fault then Toshiba will supply the part free of charge (Normally about £110) leaving you just to pay for labour. I could of fitted it myself but they insisted it went to a registered business address of a tv repair shop, I explained to the shop I knew what was involved and they let me have it done for £40 iirc but it could cost about £80.
