I have a Sony PVM-2950QM professional 29" video monitor that has an array of inputs, including component and RGB. I have recently tried connecting a freeview digibox up via a scart to BNC lead (R,G,B + composite sync). While the digibox works fine under RGB on my sony TV, this monitor does not like the signal at all and refuses to sync. There does not appear to be any way of switching the monitor between individual horizontal and vertical sync and composite sync that is needed here and I suspect it may be something to do with this (I know the monitor can accept either). Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for the monitor either. Can anyone give me any pointers, am I doing anything stupid!?
