Looking for a new TV

Im currently using a 15" CRT but its no good for gaming on the 360. Ive looked at LCDs but im not overly impressed with the ones in my sub-£500 budget so now im looking at a new (bigger) CRT.

Are there any good CRTs around that do HD through component? Im none to bothered about HDMI because, providing the TV is cheap enough (below £250) i'll upgrade again before HDCP becomes an issue.

Re: Looking for a new TV

I'm looking for a replacement for my 21" CRT and have been reading and reading and reading, and this is what I've gathered:

(1) If you've been looking at LCD TVs displayed in shops you probably haven't seen them at their best because most shops don't feed them decent signals.

(2) An HD-capable LCD TV really needs an HD signal, they don't display SD (standard definition) too well.

(3) An Xbox on an HD LCD TV gives a miles better pic than TV signal.

(4) Sub-£500 27" or 32" models to go for are HANNspree, AOC, Evesham, and Samsung LE32R74BDX, but you may want something smaller.

I think the main point in your case is (3).

Meanwhile, looks like I need to stick with CRT if I want simply to watch telly and don't have HD feed, which means I need to find a very good delivery company or hire some hunks .
