Sony Triniton KV-29F2U

Just got one of these, my first sony branded trinton type monitor.

Are these any good? I cant find any specs/review/date for this model.

I spent a sizeable chunk of my student loan on a KV29-F1U back in 1997. (when big CRT sets were a lot of money) Lovely set and still going strong!

how do you get the menu up on this tv? I have a RM-818 remote if it matters.

The original remote that was supplied with the set is an RM-862.
Looks as though you have the wrong one and although it operates some of the functions doesn't operate the ones that matter.

damn, the one i have has tons more buttons too The only place I can find the remote you mentioned was ebay for £12
