Which SONY is better for a home cinema?

Which one is better for a home cinema system and why?

1)sony,34'' , fd trinitron , wega , HDTV model:KD-34xbr2

2)Sony , 57'' , high defination PJTV model:KDP-57xbr2

3)Sony , 34'' , Plasma wega flat panel mosel:KZ-32TS1


and what is yuor suggestion abou a TV for home cinema sysytem

I think you will find that most members of this Forum are UK based, and will probably not be familiar with those sets

Although, as Party Animal said, we're mostly UK based so aren't famililiar with the TVs in question. I can offer some general advice though...

This assumes all the TVs ar 16:9 and not 4:3 models

If the TV is going to be used for mostly regular TV viewing as well as occasional home cinema use, go for the direct-view TV.

If you'll be watching the set in a darkened room and in general only with films... go for the rear-projection set.

If you'll be using it mostly for films, but occasionally regular TV viewing and you are sensitive to things like purity, geometry and convergence errors, go for a plasma display. In the UK at least the screens with the best reputation are Panasonic and Toshiba.

What does the instring operator have to do with price.

Also 2000 $ 3000 is invalid - you need character strings

"x" $ "abcdx" is .T.

"e" $ "adcdx" is .F.
