Toshiba WH vs. PH series

I was already certain about buying the Tosh 50WH18P when I found out about the existence of a Tosh 50PH18P. Somehow it is cheaper than the WH version and according to the salesguy it is newer as well.

Which one is better? I am only interested in good picture quality on DVD movies. I do not really care that much about the audio as that will be done by seperate components.

Any advice is very welcome!

EDIT: Never mind just found out it is 4:3 !! Not an option!!
