I've got a year olf Panasonic 28" w/s crt its working flawlessly however I have noticed a hairline crack in the screen when looking down from above when the set is off. Its about 1.5 inches long. When watching the telly you dont noticve any problems. Jut wondering if this is likely to blow.

Thinking Home insurance claim but dunno if they'd do owt.

Most likely cause has been one of the kids hitting it with something.

Anyone think its a possible danger or should I be ok to keep it running.

If it is just a hairline crack and not deep it should be okay and nothing to worry about...all modern crts have a protective glass bonded to the crt face...this is where your crack is...it's not on the crt itself.

i 2 know what its like to have a nice working tele and then a scratch to make it all bad, i know u cant see it when the tele is on but the fact is u know its still there which pi**** you off
