Service engineers for Toshiba 36ZP38 adverse noise

Hi all previously posted about this, but would welcome any further thoughts. My tosh 36ZP38 has developed a high pitched noise, which frankly is driving me barmy (and the dog!!). It was intermitent and seemed to only be there as the telly warmed up but now its there all the time, once you get tuned into it, you just cant watch the TV. Grows in intensity and then lessens then back again. Picture remains unaffected so im not suspicious of the infamous module(or should I be?).

It seems to get worse as you switch through the freeview channels and the "Bands" at the bottom display on the screen, but its there all the time now. I've tried disconnecting the Nokia 221Tfreeview box(dont get me started about that damn thing!!) but the noise is still there?
Reckon this is going to need a service call, and would welcome any suggestions of reputable service engineers in the Coventry Area? Heres hoping?
Regards

If it's a high-pitched "singing" type noise it's probably loose windings on a coil or transformer...they are normally sealed to prevent movement...if the windings are loose they vibrate as current passes through them and "sing".
It shouldn't be too expensive to repair.

One common way of dealing with this is to apply hot melt glue to the affected coil(s). Back in the day I used to mix up a bit of Araldite and apply with a wooden spatula.
