Is my TV dead?

Whilst moving my CRT to decorate the room I dropped it and heard a huge release of air. On inspection I found that the glass connection that the circuit board connects to on the tube had shattered.

Stupidly I plugged it in to see if was still working and a huge white flash shot out the back of it.

The model is a 32PW6518/05.

Sorry for the basic explanation but its the first time I've looked inside a tv.

Can this be fixed cheaply?

Re: Is my TV dead?

Replacing the tube will be very expensive so a new TV will be the order of the day. Shouldn't be a problem if you have accidental damage cover.

That is a far superior model and it doesn't use the Painter IC.
