32" tv philips

Hi,

Thinking of getting a philips 32" 9617 or 9527.
Read the posts about panny tubes a few months back.
Do philips use there own cybertubes in the above models now?
Thanks for any info?

AFAIK all 32" 9617s have a Panasonic Quintrix F tube. With the 9527 it appears to be pot luck as to whether you get a Cybertube or a Quintrix F. Don't get te wrong idea about the Quintrix F, it is a very good tube (well I'm happy anyways). People just got a little annoyed that Philips weren't being up-front about using it in their high-end sets!
