Geometry problems on Philips 9527

Had my 9527 for a few days now and Ive noticed that the edges curve outwards on all picture formats. In fact it looks way out on 4:3. The picture also distorts towards the corners, so straight edges on the picture appear to bend as if they have been dipped in water and refracted.
Does this sound like a fault or could it be resolved in the service menu(not that i know what im doing with it). The curving does seem symmetrical so maybe it can be adjusted like a pc monitor.
Hope ive not got a duff one ive had enough hassle getting this one(useless local courier).
Cheers
