toshiba ?

hi
i am having a problem when using component video to toshiba plasma from my lecson 1000. in ntsc it cant seem to grab the signel? ie like just before a channel tunes in wavy lines ect. its fine in pal but then this is not why i bought it, would like it to prog scan ntsc disks for me. any opinions? at the moment i am using very cheap cables could this be the problem?
would someone with the tosh or lecson like to post there settings please?it would be a great help?
it seems more of us are taking the plunge with plasma`s wouldn`t a gallery like the usforums be nice to put some pics
just a thought. there proberly is already ?
