Help!!!

Can someone help or point me in the right direction of someone who knows how to fix rear projections.

I have just aquired a sony rear projection model number kp-51ds1u the person that had it before said the colour was a bit furry and switched off after about 2 hours. Now when i plug it in and try to switch it on i get a static noise and thats it(i think it could be the relay)no lights and no lights flashing. can anyone help

Ive just tried it again and i am getting a red light come on then go off again but when i press power on the control it goes onto standby

You need to post this in the "Rear Projection" Forum, which is the one after this CRT Forum. Hopefully someone there can help you.
