Hooking up my cable(NTSC)

Hello, just joined your forum I live in NYC. I just bought an hdtv Panasonic Quintrix tv, it is my 1st uk tevelsion. I have everything hooked up expect for my cable, I know my cable can work I saw the man who I bought it from he showed me the cable in his house, I just forgot to ask him how he hooked it up cause there is no coaxial cable hookup. I have been reading the owners book, and it says Aerial input socket. So what do you guys think I need to get my tv hooked up with my cable, I was thinking of an aerial to coaxial adapter, but I couldnt find any online. any help is greatly appreciated TIA. Night

Re: Hooking up my cable(NTSC)

I'm not the most knowledgeable but I think a coaxial lead is an aerial cable. have you tried to see if it fits in the aerial socket Tia? if not try it, gently.

hope that helps

You may need an adaptor if the TV has an IEC (formerly known as belling lee) UK style input and your coaxial cable is terminated in another type (e.g. F-type).
Radio Shack should have these.
