So I really want to make the jump to HD, but I have yet to see any HD-ready TV that's able to match my Mimo on SD sources. Even some HD feeds in to HD sets have looked poor by comparison. Now I know the Mimo is a pretty good set but is it really that good? Are the majority of HD sets that bad? What's going on here? Let's face it, most of us are going to be watching SD broadcasts most of the time for a quite a few months at the very least, so there's no point in jumping to HDTV whilst the sets are so poor in SD (when compared to my Loewe). Or maybe I'm missing the point here. . . .

What HD screens have you looked?
Remember there is a premium for hanging it on a wall (LCD/Pasma) HD on a HD set is great but why jump? If your happy whats the big deal about HD?

Have an LCD/Plasma hanging on the wall, and the CRT on the floor.

I don't think now is the time to go HD.

I sold my crt for an lcd, which became another lcd, and then a plasma - all were returned to the shops and each reminded me how much better my crt was.
