PHILIPS 28PW6615 Green Tint Problem

Hi

I've had the TV about 2 years, It been great, But recently, i've been getting a green tint on the screen which if left builds up to become quite strong, if i turn off the TV and back on again it's fine, I have my coxial aerial pluged into my sky box then into the tv set, and the sky box also runs via a good quilty scart cable to the RGB input, I've treid pulling all the cables out of the back of the set when it's at it worse and it stayed jjust the same

Any ideas ???

If it's just green patches (rather than the whole screen) then you could try one of the following;

Try turning your contrast down a bit, as this can be triggered if contrast is too high.
Another solution would be to turn off your TV at night (completely off, not just putting it in standby), as this will give the screen a thorough demagnetization each night.

If the whole screen's green then it's probably a repair job.
