10 year old philips help!

Hello I wonder if anybody can help me I have a 68cm Philips (26ce1991/75r) TV that has decided not to focus very well at all. The writing thrown up on the screen like during advertisments is all blured together. Is this the kiss of death or does it just need an internal tweak to fix by a technician and help would be appreciated. Cheers Scott.

I would approach it like this.....

Have a trip to specsavers, if you come out with 20/20 vision go and treat yourself to a new telly.
