Seemed to get a very good review here......

http://www.whatvideotv.com/testbench...36WF830N.shtml

Main drawback seemed to be analogue sources.....

Thought you were gonna go for a Loewe anyway?

Yes, Loewe are expensive!

I'm confused too!! See my thread entitled "The state of (CRT) TVs" - it seems to have generated a fair bit of interest.. In the first post I made, I summarised the "hidden features" of various manufacturers... Further posts by others have opened the debate up further.

The 36WF830 is the larger 'newer' version of the 32WF810 which I had from Sound & Vision. The set developed many faults over time, which seem to stem from a faulty Eprom chip. I would avoid choosing any of the Hitachi flat screen models.

Also, Hitachi is pulling out of 'bread and butter' consumer electronics and is to concentrate on Plasmas and high end gear.
I don't rate Hitachi's service either.

Stick with the Loewe mate. You deserve it after all the hassle you've been through. Pay the extra - you won't regret it.
