I was playing with service menu and i did something like reset.

Now I have TV completly dis-setting, most of all the picture / like in monitor, when u get it from factory/

Somebody here know any way, how get it back?

Or its somewhere the normal setting? or factory settings?

Trun on then turn it to standby then press informatin key (i+) (5) volme ( v+) then display [_] the square botton on the remote control. (LEARN where those buttons are found before start the procedure)
Tv should come on with TT_ _ on screen (if not try it again by doing the same thing) time between pressing one to other key should not be longer then 1second ..... then enter 08 ( IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT ENTER ANY OTHER NUMBER RATHER THEN 0-ZERO 8 EIGHT) then wait for a minute.
after that turn off by using main on/off switch.
Tv should be in shipping conditions mode or REST as new.
Turn it on then retune the TV again the new setting will take place..... Good luck

I have a problem with my set so I may try that. There was nothing else on the engineer's menu that I could even think to try.


SONY KV-36FS70 - Channel always on screen

I know this is a long shot, but I'm on the verge of going mad. I have a Sony 26 inch TV, 36FS70, and for a while now the channel number (big green letters) will not leave the top of the screen. Usually the channel number goes after a few seconds, and there is a button on the remote which removes it anyway ahead of this. But, nothing seems to work. I've switched off from the power and tried everything I can think of. I even went into the egineer's menu, but there is nothing obvious there to try.

Any help would be much appreciated!
