Philips 36PW9607 Price

Hi,

Can anyone give an indication as to what a Philips 36PW9607 in as new condition might be worth, has had very minimal use over the last 2 years as only used for gaming since plasma upgrade, purchased in Feb 2002 and has extended warranty that expires 29/06/2007.
I understand 36" CRT's are a bit rare these days so thougt it may be desirable? or not?
Thanks in advance.

Well going by the recent 36" Tosh's for sale in the Classifieds I would say not a lot. I would guess about £300-350. The extended warrenty is a plus but when you can get a 32" LCD (which is only a little smaller as 36" CRT is not true 36") for £500 and consider the size of 36" CRTs there is not a lot of demand. You also have to consider that the sales market is even smaller as you have to be within collection range.

If you can accomidate it and will still use it then I would keep it, but then they do take up a lot of space.

Thanks,
that's pretty much what I thought, space/looks is the reason I want rid, will be replaced with LCD.
Would have kicked myself though if let it go for next to nothing.

The biggest problem is finding someone who is local and has the space for such a big TV. I was considering getting a 36" CRT as for £300 I thought it would be rude not to, but the more I think about it the more I keep getting drawn to a 32" LCD.

Good luck with the sale, if you decide to sell.
