Phillips 32pw9523 cool green problems

I got the TV in '98 from new, a belgian import. The last few months horizontal lines have appeared on the screen, and the colour is fading.
Now today, i have lost the picture, the screen is all green, with the horizontal white lines still there... the sound is ok, but thats it.

I would really like to keep this tv, does anyone think it is repairable and at what sort of cost.. thanks for your help..

Likely to be a faulty crt and uneconomical to repair.

If I am right that this is a PixelPlus TV, it may make sense to repair it. It's not like you can get a counterpart Plasma (with PP2) for 500 quid.
