Trailing colours

Hi there, I have a Samsung HD CRT TV. I got it just recently and hadnt noticed till today that there is a bit of a proplem with trailing colours. Doing some research it can happen on RGB but I have found it to be happening on RGB as well as component. I was wondering if anyone could help me and give me any advice on how to either get rid of it completely ot to die it down a bit. I was wondering what was the best contrast, brightness etc? And I can also get onto the main tweaking menu in the television so if anyone can tell me what to adjust I would highly appreciate it?
Thanks in advance

When is it happening? While watching normal TV in SD? Xbox 360 in HD?
or does it happen all the time regardless of what you connect to it?

In RGB connections its worst, but it is still slightly happening in DVD connecting through component.
