Hi

I have a Panasonic TX-28DTM1 DVB TV (Integrated Digital Terrestrial Decoder) and a Samsung DVD-VCR

I seem to have a problem with recording from Digital. Analogue is fine, but when that is switched off it might be a problem.

I CAN record from digital, but it seems that the TV has to be on to do this and I can't then watch another channel (Dig or An) whilst it's recording.
I can see how to set the TV with the guide to come on to a channel at a given time, but as I mention, it only seems to work if TV is on (from memory, it's been a while since I tried)

Any tips, or anyone cracked this - I am just being plain dumb?

According to the user manual you can record a digital programme while watching an analogue programme.
Page 28 of the user manual explains how to do it but I think the TV must be left on or on standby.
You can choose to output digital or analogue programmes to be recorded from AV1/AV2 in the setup menu.
