hi I am looking to buy a 36 inch crt and can't decide between the Philips 36pw9607 or the Toshiba36ZP46,

any advice would be appreciated thanks

Have you done a search on this section of the Forum, as this question is often asked.

You'll also see that 36" CRT TV's are in very short supply these days.

not seen the philips but I can vouch for the tosh, although the previous model. Cant believe its that different. Been well happy with mine for last 3 years.

Hi, personally I would never buy Philips myself - they seem to have lost their reputation for quality products some time ago. I happen to have a Toshiba 32ZP48 and as a model I thoroughly recommend it, I suppose therefore I would recommend Toshiba over Philips CRT products. Regards, yt.
