Newbie question about 100Hz TV

I've got a choice of two TV's, a very slightly marked (but brand new)Sony KV28LS35 at £499 or a Panasonic TX28PL10C at £650. The Sony seems good deal at that price but I'm attracted to the fact that the Panasonic TX28PL10C is 100Hz and but people say it can have it's down sides. What are the down sides of 100Hz?
I will be watching mainly analogue and DVD's, possibly going for Sat in the future. Is the Panasonic any good?

Hi wobble

Welcome to the forums.

If you do a search on here (use the search button above) for 100hz you will find a LOT of information.

I would take a look, then maybe come back and ask any specific questions you may have.

Cheers

Laurel
