Rear Projection & geometry?

Do owners of RP TVS on here have any experience of shocking geometry problems - the type that plague 36" CRT TVS like my Sony KV36FS70?

Most reviews suggest the geometry on RP TVs is generally spot on - is that true?? i.e. no bowing, wonkey edges, curved tops & bottoms?

Also, do you ever get purity errors on RP TVS? i.e. green/yellow stains in the corners?

Think I might buy a Toshiba 46" or 50" RP shortly, even though some folks on here rate the Sony 44", Hitachi and Panny!

Is it only the 42" and 50" Tosh's that have the newer and nicer sleek silver design as opposed to the dark grey?
