Panasonic tx36pb50

I'm thinking of getting a new tv. I have a 29in Tosh that is starting to make a buzzing noise on pics with lots of white. Had it for about 7 years..Anyway thinking of upgrading. I fancy a nice large wide screen, and saw the review of the Panasonic tx36pb50. Anybody now anything about this beast?
I did fancy the Tosh36pz but after reading the forum lots of people are experiencing problems, so thought NAH go for something else. Any other suggestions?

panny

I will be using it to play Dreamcast and other consoles on. So I didn't consider projection 'cos I thought it stained the screen

I've got one.Good picture, apart from some darkish banding at the edges.Good sound but can't beat separates obviously. It's a massively heavy tv so if you buy one, make sure they lift it for you onto the stand or get 2 mates around.By the way,it comes in a huge box and i had to take it out of the box on the patio(good job it wasn't raining) as the box can't fit through any of my doors.

Panasonic TV -Philips Tube

Did a you know that 80% MAIn TUBE is supplied by Philips.

I have opened number of machines and in there you will see Philips.

Only some basic chip is made by Panssonic to give you a name when you adjust your screen settings.

But the gut is from Philips.

Hiltachi uses Philips,

Only Sony make thair own TUBE. The Tube which is made in Uk is
not FULL blown compared tha one made in JApan.
