Panasonic TX-28DTX1 problem

Got the above and have a problem. Recently, on turning it on, the orange 'timer' light has come on next to the red standby light and the TV won't turn on. I sorted this out by turning it off, unplugging and then restarting. Did the trick. Now, it's happened again but the power cycle hasn't helped. Just sits there with the orange and red standby lights on. Any ideas?

ur tele has a power supply problem hence no power starting up, may be a simple dry joint might be a capacitor in the psu unit, get it checked out and dont keep trying to turn it on as this may cause more damage
