Sony 36FS70

Anyone shed some light on this problem, I have had the above Sony TV for just over 6 months, I have noticed over the last 3 months that a faint line appears on the top left side of the TV. When I go into the screen size setup is it more noticeable, it seems as if the screen is wonky. Also when I turn the TV on/off via the remote I get a loud noise

My Sony does the same thing when I play DVD's with a Letterbox format.

I have managed to reduce the size of the white line by using the picture rotation option in the AV setup menu.

Give it a try!
