Humming Philips

I noticed last night that my 32PW6515 hums, is this normal. I only noticed it because I had the volume low but there is a definate hum on sound (clears when on mute) and a hum coming from the back of the TV. I know TV's will hum a little because of the tube but this is much louder than on my old TV which was barely noticable.

Further listening tests have identified that the hum gets louder or softer depending on the picture colour, white is loudest, black softest.

The speaker hum is not intrusive enough to worry about, you have to be listening for it, but the tube hum is a nuisance. Will the tube hum go with use or is it likely to get worse?

Thanks
