HD Problems.

Hi, i have recently downloaded some HD clips and trailers, but i was wondering why they seem to be lagging. Im not sure how to explain it but my eyes can tell its missing a frame. its hard to describe.
Im using a Dell 2405 24" and my G card is an X800 Pro, these two surely shoudnt have a problem decoding the image? Im also using WMP 10 latest drivers on everything.
The file type is .mov would this be the problem? Ive got a quicktime alternative codec would this be the issue?
Also where can i get some good demos from, i cant find many apart from apple or wmvhd.com
Thanks
Chris
