Question 28" Widscreen Question

I have the 36" Sony Widescreen (KV-36FS70) in my front room. I have the 3 main games consoles (ps2, xbox, gamecube), so I'm now looking to buy a 28" Widescreen for them for in my room.

To prevent removing the scart every time I want to play a different console I'm looking for a 28" widescreen that has 2 RGB scart sockets on it.

The 2 tv's that ive been looking at are the...
Sony KV-28FX65
Panny TX-28PL10

but none of these sets have 2 rgb scarts......

Can anyone help me ? Also the cheapest place to buy widescreens would be great too..

Thanks

I've got a Hitachi C28WF530 - a very nice 28" flatscreen that you can pick up for under £500 now. It has 3 scarts, 2 of which are RGB. I have my DVD player in one of them and my Nokia Digibox into the other - pin sharp picture on both.
Try www.empire-direct.co.uk for good priced TVs.

But telephone first to make sure that they have what you want in stock otherwise you might find your credit card debited weeks before you receive your television.

I love the Philips 28PW8807.

It has 2 RGB SCART, 1 S-Video SCART and another plain S-Video socket and a fantastic picture.

It rocks.

I'm currently in the same situation, have been looking for 28" widescreen for a few weeks now.
I was soooooooooo close to ordering a Panasonic TX28PL1 but I've just read a thread stating that the RGB is shabby with DVD playback whcih is what it would mainly be used for.

My search continues...

I was the same but I was going to buy the TX28PL10 which ive heard and also applies to the whole range of panasonics that NTSC playback stinks.........ah well, keep looking i suppose.

I'll probably buy the Sony KV28LS35 at £650 with stand, I cant knock that back......

I would have given the Philips 28PW8807 some thought but I cant find it anywhere....

Thumbs down

True - be careful with Empire. I ordered a Panasonic TX28PL10 from them on the 2nd Dec 2001. Credit card was debited straight away, and I have only received the TV today, after 2 months

Nice TV though
