Question 100hz,32" Idtv?

Can anyone advise me on a suitable TV?
I currently have Philips DW9625 - 100HZ, 32", IDTV, 3 Scarts, Dolby Prologic surround, which is 'beyond economic repair'. Insurance have offered 50HZ Philips PW6720 or 100HZ Samsung WS32A116D, neither of which I am keen on. Don't want to go down to 50HZ. Samsung looks like a tank! Also offered Sony DAV-DZ100 for the sound.
Suggestions please

How much do you want to spend? I highly recommend Toshiba's range of CRTs such as the 32YT56. Look very nice and fabulous picture. The Panasonic TX32DTM1 is also very well regarded and looks less tank-like than most . Naturally if you choose to go with a model without idtv your choice would be far broader.

Basically, its an insurance replacement job. They've suggested the Philips 50Hz or Samsung 100Hz, + Sony DAV-DZ100 or invited me to suggest something else and discuss extra cost to me! I think they should be offering a better replacement in the first place. As i said, I'm not keen on reverting to 50HZ which the 32DTM11 or 32YT56 are. Need IDTV as we don't have or want sky and IDTV gives better picture than seperate box. Basically I need suggestions in similar price bracket to what we've been offered. Wife says we could maybe add an extra £100 on if nec. to get what we want. She liked the Samsung slim CRT (no IDTV) but she goes for looks rather than tech. performance!
I like the look of Panasonic 32DTX11 or JVC HV32D40, although heard this doesn't give good analogue picture and EPG not so good.

I have the JVC HV32D40 and the Analogue picture is excellent as long as the signal is a good one like all HDtv's, Yes it's HD it was released before the whole HD ready thing was introduced and is capable of HD at 1080i although not 720p, Resoultions it supports are 525i/P (480i/p) 625i/p 1125i (1080i) via component, the one negative thing like you said is the EPG it is only now and next with no chance of it going to a 7EPG but that is the only gripe i have with it, I dont think JVC make this TV now so you may have a tough job finding one.
