I just got my JVC AV32H5SK this morning. Everything is fine except I noticed that on each side of the screen where the black rim is around the picture there is a pixel sized bit that shouldn't be there. Am I making sense? It's like a stray pixel on each side in the middle. Is this normal? Is it just a feature of flat screen tvs? I've never had one before. It's 100hz if that makes any difference

I took a picture of it but cant find my usb cable so i've drawn a picture of it instead

Thats the tv with a blue screen. The picture on the right is a close up.

Anyway, should I call the engineer out or what or is this normal?

It's the index pip to allow the deflection yoke to be fitted straight. It's always been there, and they have all got one.

Essentially it is used to align the tube to stop the picture being tilted.

oh the geometry is perfect (to my eyes anyway)

it's just the big damn hole in the case that's ******* me off
