My mates got the TV above and last night it woudlnt swicth on anymore. In orde for it prepare a proposal to replace it with a Plasma , please can anyone advise what might be wrong with it and how much it may cost to fix. The issues is:

When it is swicthed on the standby light comes on and there is a bit of a electrical switch/relay noise and the standby light goes off. The TV is then dead unless you repower at the wall and the thing happens.
