Does anyone know how to make this TV turn on straight into AV1 or AV2 etc... I know how to get into the service menu but have had no luck.

I don't think there is a way. Best it can do is remember which AV channel you were last watching when you press '0'. There is a crafty workaround you can use if you're programming a macro for a remote, but I'm not sure that's what you're after.
